NOAA / NCEP NOMADS
Planned — not yet live.
Future severe-weather parameters (CAPE, CIN, helicity, wind shear and related fields) are planned to come from NOAA/NCEP NOMADS HRRR/RAP output. These parameters are not shown anywhere on the site yet and will only appear once a real, verified source is connected.
Honesty of presentation
When a value is unavailable, the site shows N/A rather than an estimate. If the NWS API is temporarily unreachable, pages say so instead of displaying stale data as if it were current. Observation timestamps are always shown so you can judge freshness.
